Steel City Members,
The Covid-19 situation has affected all of us in one way or another.
As many of you already know, the Corps of Engineers has closed all of their visitor centers and campground facilities. They have also cancelled all fishing tournaments on Corps impoundments through May 15.
Unfortunately, this will force us to cancel our Pomme de Terre tournament scheduled for April 4-5, 2020.
The bass club board of directors will re-evaluate the situation weekly as time passes and we will keep you updated on situation.
I urge all of you to concentrate on taking care of yourselves and your families. The Steel City Bassmasters will bounce back from this setback in our tournament season.
What we are finding is that the only way to level out the Coronavirus spread is through social distancing and following all isolation orders set in place by the government. We will do our part to assist.
